Introduction

The LPSMGR-3024-4GC-AC is a high-performance 24-port Gigabit Layer 2+ Managed Power over Ethernet (PoE) Switch designed for commercial networks, IP surveillance, and Building Management Systems (BMS). It is equipped with 24 × 10/100/1000Base-TX PoE copper ports alongside 4 × 1000M combo uplink ports that support flexible copper RJ45 or optical SFP connectivity. The switch provides robust Power over Ethernet capability across all 24 Ethernet ports, with ports 1–2 supplying high-power IEEE 802.3bt/PoE++ output up to 90W per port and ports 3–24 offering up to 30W per port under a total system PoE budget of 400W.

Engineered on a solid hardware architecture, the device features a 500MHz CPU, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 128MB Flash memory, and a 4.1 Mbit SRAM packet buffer. It provides non-blocking switching performance with a stated backplane bandwidth of 56 Gbps and a packet forwarding rate of 41.67 Mpps using Store-and-Forward transmission. The Layer 2+ software suite supports up to 4096 IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, Voice VLAN prioritization, IGMP Snooping v1/v2/v3, multicast VLAN routing, link aggregation (up to 8 TRUNK groups with 8 ports each), and multi-tier Quality of Service (QoS) scheduling models.

For mission-critical network continuity and security, the switch supports comprehensive industrial ring network redundancy protocols including EPPS, ERPS, EAPS, STP, RSTP, and MSTP, as well as real-time loop detection and auto-recovery. Advanced security functions include IEEE 802.1X authentication, IP/MAC-based ACLs, port isolation, and storm suppression. Housed in a durable IP30-rated metal casing with 6kV surge/lightning protection and an integrated 100–240V AC power supply, the unit supports standard 19-inch rackmount installation and operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -10°C to +55°C.
