Introduction
The SC10MK2 MT is a powerful and flexible gateway designed to integrate mixed serial device environments into a unified Modbus TCP network. Its strategic value lies in its ability to connect both RS-232 and RS-422/485 devices through a single unit, making it an ideal solution for systems that utilize a variety of legacy equipment, such as PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and meters.
This 2-port converter provides one dedicated RS-232 port and one RS-422/485 port, managed by a high-performance MT7688AN CPU. This robust hardware allows the SC10MK2 MT to support up to 8 simultaneous Modbus/TCP masters, with each master capable of handling 32 simultaneous polling requests. This high capacity ensures efficient data acquisition from numerous serial devices, consolidating communication and simplifying network management for industrial automation and control applications.
