A Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from the University of Bombay, he has held senior leadership roles including Managing Director, CEO, Business Unit Head, and Strategic Marketing Leader with global MNCs such as GE Fanuc, L & T, Honeywell and TMEIC.

He has successfully established and scaled India operations, including setting up world-class manufacturing facilities for large motors (up to 23MW), MV drives, UPS systems, and solar inverters, managing investments of over INR 5,000 million. Known for driving strong revenue growth (40%+ in key roles), building high-performance teams, improving cash flows, and developing “for India” product strategies, Hemant combines strategic vision with operational excellence. He brings deep expertise in P&L management, business development across Asia Pacific, talent development, and customer-centric leadership across sectors such as power, oil & gas, cement, metals, and infrastructure.
