Introduction
The IESMG 304-2S A is defined by its compact form factor and low power consumption, making it an energy-efficient choice for distributed network architectures. Its Store-and-Forward architecture ensures data integrity, while its smaller physical footprint allows for easy installation in constrained spaces like control panels, roadside cabinets, and machine enclosures.
Despite its compact size, the series is exceptionally robust. It features the same wide operating temperature range (-40⁰C to +85⁰C) and dual redundant power inputs as its larger counterparts, ensuring high availability. With comprehensive electrical protection, these switches are built to provide reliable connectivity for critical edge devices like industrial sensors, controllers, and tracking devices in the field.
While using standard Cat5 / 5e / 6 cables that carry Ethernet data, the switch can also provide power to a Powered Devices, such as VoIP phones, video cameras, wireless access points, alarms, traffic controllers, sensors and tracking devices
