Introduction

The GW IoT G8M 241 Gateway is a robust industrial device designed for remote monitoring, control, and data acquisition from multiple field equipments over 4G/LTE cellular networks. Acting as a Modbus RTU Master, it communicates with multiple Modbus slave devices at a single site and transmits structured JSON data to cloud or central monitoring servers using IoT protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, and FTP. In addition to serial communication, the gateway integrates 7 onboard I/Os—4 Digital Inputs, 2 Analog Inputs, and 1 Digital Outputs—enabling direct monitoring and remote operation of field signals and actuators. Designed for industrial panel installation, the gateway operates on a wide 12V DC power supply, ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.

Designed specifically for deployment within industrial panels, the GW IoT G8M 241 provides a dependable communication link for sites where physical access is difficult or costly. By seamlessly integrating Modbus devices and local I/O signals with cloud-based IoT platforms, it empowers organizations to monitor asset performance, track process and environmental parameters, and perform remote control actions with greater efficiency, reliability, and operational control.
