Introduction
The GW BMS04 Series is a dedicated Metasys N2 to BACnet IP / RS-485 gateway designed to integrate Johnson Controls Metasys N2–based controllers with modern Building Management Systems. It enables seamless communication between legacy Metasys N2 devices and BACnet-based supervisory systems.
By supporting 2 Nos of RS-485 ports and BACnet IP connectivity, the GW BMS04 Series allows reliable data exchange, centralized monitoring, and smooth migration from proprietary N2 networks to open BACnet architectures, helping extend the life of existing field devices while modernizing the BMS infrastructure.
Point count is upgradeable to 5000 or 10000 at additional cost.
Up to 32 devices can be multi-dropped on the Modbus RTU/BACnet MSTP/N2 side (Note: this number may vary depending on site conditions).
Serial Port 2: RS485, 2-Wire (3 Pin Screw type terminals)
Ethernet Port: 1 x 10/100 Ethernet (RJ45 Connector)
DC Voltage Range: 18 to 72V DC
AC Voltage Range: 24V AC ± 10%
Power Consumption: 100mA @ 24V
Power Connector: 3 Pin Screw type
Mounting: DIN Rail
Relative Humidity: 5-90% RH, non-condensing
