Introduction
The IESG 1080 EN is an 8-port 10/100/1000Mbps industrial Ethernet switch designed to connect a larger number of local devices. Its eight auto-negotiating RJ45 ports provide the density needed to serve as a compact aggregation point in device-rich industrial environments. Optimized for standard packet transmission, it delivers simple, plug-and-play Gigabit performance for typical edge device communication.
Like its 5-port counterpart, the IESG 1080 EN is purpose-built for harsh applications. It features robust 6KV network port surge protection to defend against severe electrical events. The industrial-grade design is further enhanced by a fanless enclosure for reliable heat dissipation, redundant dual DC power inputs for high availability, and support for daisy-chain connections to easily expand the network.
