By supporting advanced L3 protocols such as OSPF and VRRP alongside wire-speed L2 switching, the platform enables granular traffic management and redundant gateway configurations essential for Tier-1 railway and mining integration. This dual-layer approach allows for seamless interoperability between local segments and the broader enterprise backbone.

Architected for extreme physical resilience, the device features a rugged IP40-rated aluminum enclosure and utilizes industry-standard M12 connectors to provide vibration-proof, gas-tight physical connectivity. Full compliance with EN50155 standards validates its suitability for rolling stock and trackside infrastructure, where mechanical shocks and moisture ingress would compromise traditional RJ45-based hardware. The fanless design ensures passive thermal management, allowing for reliable operation within the unventilated, high-heat cabinets typical of railway engine rooms.

This switch delivers a robust dual-purpose capacity by functioning as both a high-speed Gigabit data conduit and a high-power PoE source. Featuring 24 total Gigabit ports—comprising 20 PoE-enabled ports and 4 dedicated bypass ports—it is optimized for rolling stock deployments where weight and cabling complexity are primary concerns. It provides simultaneous 30W power and Gigabit data to peripheral devices including high-resolution IP cameras, passenger information systems, and Wi-Fi 6 access points, even during localized power disruptions.
