HSR/PRP Redundancy Module is a specialized, plug-in Redbox (Redundancy Box) engineered specifically for the IESMGR 6028 Series rack-mount switches. This modular approach allows system architects to integrate legacy or non-redundant end devices into high-availability architectures without the expense of a full forklift upgrade of existing IEDs or controllers.
Functionally, the module provides unparalleled versatility by supporting both HSR (IEC 62439-3-5) and PRP (IEC 62439-3-4) protocols, with the specific redundancy mode being easily configurable via software.
