By integrating 24 Gigabit RJ45 copper ports, 24 Gigabit SFP optical ports for multi-mode and single-mode fiber aggregation, and 6 high-speed 10G SFP+ uplink ports, the device offers a versatile non-blocking fabric. Its "carrier-grade" status is underpinned by a deep software stack featuring Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) with full P/PE functionality, advanced IPv6 transition technologies, and high-availability mechanisms including Bidirectional Forwarding Detection (BFD) and Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS) with sub-50ms recovery.
