Introduction
The SC12FEISG Series Industrial Gigabit Ethernet to Fiber Converter is specifically engineered to provide robust and reliable media conversion between 10/100/1000 BASE-T(X) copper and 100/1000 BASE-(F)X fiber optic networks. To accommodate diverse network architectures and cabling requirements, the device is available with options for both fixed SC and flexible SFP fiber connectors, allowing for tailored deployment across various industrial applications.
A key design feature of the SC12FEISG is its exceptional configurability, managed through an accessible onboard DIP switch. This switch empowers network administrators to enable and configure a range of advanced functions directly on the hardware, maximizing operational flexibility without the need for software. Configurable settings include critical parameters such as: Fiber speed, Fiber Auto-negotiation, Link fail pass-through (LFPT), TS-1000 Terminal / Center mode, power-saving features, Jumbo Frame support, and Cut-through forwarding.
