Functioning as a single-port Modbus RTU/ASCII to Modbus TCP gateway, the SC10MK X E translates between the serial-based Modbus protocols and the Ethernet-based TCP protocol. This allows industrial control systems, SCADA software, and other TCP-based applications to communicate seamlessly with devices that traditionally rely on RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 connections.
