Introduction
The IESMG 308-4S A utilizes a Store-and-Forward switching architecture within a fan-less, energy-saving design, ensuring reliable and stable operation. This construction, housed in a rugged aluminum enclosure, makes it inherently suited for deployment in harsh industrial settings where dust, vibration, and temperature extremes are common.
Operational resilience is a cornerstone of the series. The switches are designed to function flawlessly across a wide temperature range of -40⁰C to +85⁰C and are equipped with dual redundant power inputs to guarantee continuous operation in the event of a primary power source failure. This robust design ensures high availability for connected end devices like VoIP phones, video cameras, and industrial sensors. While using standard Cat5 / 5e / 6 cables that carry Ethernet data, the switch can also provide power to a Powered Devices, such as VoIP phones, video cameras, wireless access points, alarms, traffic controllers, sensors and tracking devices.

A: The switch can be configured through Web GUI, CLI. Simply assign an IP address to your PC in the same network range, access the switch via its default IP through a web browser, log in with credentials, and configure VLAN, IP settings, redundancy, and security features as required.
